KATWARN, the app for warning of danger and disasters, is a service of the government of Hesse. With the app, you can receive information about current danger alerts and be warned in the most urgent situations.
When an alert is issued, you will receive a notification on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
You can choose to receive only warnings for your current location or for a place of your choice.
If you want to receive alerts for more than one place, you can simply add more places.
The app can also be used to find out about the current status of the warnings in other countries.
